Dynamo wins Best Technology PR company… for second year running!

Dynamo wins best technology PR agency

We’re delighted that we’ve done it again. At one of the industry’s biggest and most respected awards ceremonies, Dynamo was up against 10 of the biggest and best technology PR companies, but walked on stage to pick up the coveted gold award for our work within the technology PR sector.

This is a testament to the way we work, as much as the work we do.

We’ve built up world class expertise in sectors including edutech, 3D printing, AI and ML – from early work with clients like SwiftKey, through to more recent clients that are breaking technology barriers like Speechmatics. We’ve opened up an office in Silicon Valley to better support our North American clients, and help with crowdfunding campaigns on Kickstarter and Indiegogo.

And whilst our creativity has also won awards (the successful hijacking of the Rio Olympics in the Athletes Abstinence campaign for instance), it’s the way we work that clients also value.

We have a clear desire to influence the wider PR community through the adoption of modern, forward-thinking policies. 2016 saw our efforts reach a new high with the public release of the agency’s wage gap, the introduction of a Diversity Working Group, and even having some of the largest agencies in world consult senior management on how to implement best in class working practices.

Thank you to all our staff, and our clients, and the judges for picking us once again as Technology PR agency of the year.

Dynamo wins Gold for PRWeek’s Best Places to Work

In what is a great start to 2017, we’re thrilled to have been picked as the best agency to work for in the UK, in PRWeek’s Best Places to Work (under 30 employee’s category). The judges praised our approach to diversity, training and flexible working – all things we strive to be leaders in. We were the first agency in the UK to publish our gender pay gap, as well as the first to offer our employees unlimited holidays.

We have huge respect for the work of Third City and Manifest, the two other agencies shortlisted, and we’re proud to be recognised amongst them.

Holmes Report selects Dynamo as one of the 2016 EMEA Creative PR Consultancies of the Year

We’re delighted to learn today that Dynamo UK has been picked as one of Europe’s top creative PR consultancies by the venerable Holmes Report. The judges state:

“Dynamo emerged last year to take third spot in the Holmes Report’s Global Creative Index ranking, thanks to an impressive awards haul for such clients as M3D and 3Doodler. Much of that is down to the agency’s sophisticated understanding of crowdfunding.”

We’re delighted to be recognised again for our creativity, something that’s been showing through yet again for our campaigns with clients such as Nvidia and Attraction Tix.

We’re looking forward to the awards ceremony on May 25th where we’ll find out whether we’ve picked up gold!

Dynamo ranked 3rd in the world for creativity

The Holmes report has just published the fourth edition of its creative index of PR companies worldwide, ranking Dynamo third in the world when adjusted for headcount.

We’re of course delighted by this ranking, reflecting the effort we put into our clients work in the belief that a thoughtful, creative approach to everything we do underpins outstanding results.

If you’re looking for a creative PR company that can create some magical results for you, get in touch. We’re a rapidly growing agency with staff based in Europe and North America. If you’re looking for a job, then check out current vacancies, but we’re always open to random approaches.

The Global Creative Index analyses entries and winners from more than 25 PR award programmes from around the world, over a 12 month period, using the 2015 Cannes Lions as a cut-off point. Scores were weighted according to a Holmes Report formula that placed particular emphasis on Best of Show winners.

Dynamo’s ‘Sweetest Mistake’ campaign wins Best Use of Small Budget at the #PRWeekAwards

At Tuesday’s PR Week Awards we won Best Use of a Small Budget for our ‘Sweetest mistake’ campaign, for Bathrooms.com.

Having been de-indexed by Google, Bathrooms.com’s site didn’t even show up when ‘bathrooms’ was typed into the search engine.  So, how do you create a PR campaign that reaches the target audience of young couples and can turn things around with Google?

Analysing Google trends and Google Analytics data, we discovered that millions were incorrectly spelling “bathroom suites” as “bathroom sweets”.  From this insight the idea to sell a chocolate bathroom suite was born to highlight the confusion over the spelling in a quirky and unique way, launched at a media event.

Nominated alongside Ladbrokes, Poker Stars, Borough Market and the Cervical Cancer Trust, PR Week Awards judge Tara O’Donnell (Text100) commented that our winning campaign was “Very clever, creative and measurable. Good use of percentage insight”.

We were also nominated for Specialist Consultancy of the Year and Small Consultancy of the Year, which we received High Commendations for both.

Dynamo’s ‘Sweetest Mistake’ campaign wins SEO PR Award

At last night’s Brand Republic Digital Awards, we picked up the best Search Strategy Award for Bathrooms.com’s ‘Sweetest Mistake’ campaign.

Born out of the insight that people misspell the word ‘suite’ as ‘sweet’, we created a microsite to sell a bathroom suite, made entirely of chocolate. With search strategy at the heart of the idea, Dynamo built the site, curated the onsite content and commissioned bespoke imagery.

The campaign directly impacted our client’s search visibility and increased their Google rankings, as well as achieving global print, online and broadcast media coverage and social media traction.

In a competitive category alongside Samsung, Direct Line and Royal Caribbean, to win best Search Strategy was a fantastic achievement, and highlights the value of Dynamo’s PR and SEO seamless strategy approach.
